The CSA-Online.net–Science Tool and Online Community (C-STOC) is operated by the Society for Dental Ceramics, and serves to conduct scientific studies in the field of all-ceramic restorations in teeth and to facilitate communication between all those interested in the field of all-ceramic restorations in teeth. C-STOC is only to be utilized according to certain fundamental rules, which are described in the conditions for use in this document.
By using C-STOC, you agree to comply with all provisions and conditions described in this document. If you do not completely and entirely agree to the conditions for use described in this agreement, you cannot use C-STOC. The denial of your agreement to all provisions and conditions described herein terminates your access.
Security and Data Protection
The Society for Dental Ceramics takes all due measures to protect the personal information that you give C-STOC. For instance, you can only register with C-STOC if you provide a valid e-mail address, an admissible password, and written and/or personal contact with the secretariat of the Society for Dental Ceramics. In addition, C-STOC participants can determine which personal information is made available to or withheld from the online community. Due to the nature of Internet communication and web technology, users are advised to exercise discretion about which elements of personal information to make public.

Thank you for becoming one of our new members! We do our best to block spam and make sure that your e-mail address is never shown publicly and is inaccessible to the public. We are working on eliminating spam. You can at any time log off of parts of the C-STOC online community by altering your profile in the member’s area. We will not use your data outside of C-STOC.
Guidelines for appropriate use of C-STOC
The Society for Dental Ceramics has set guidelines and directives in order to achieve behavior beneficial to all members. These measures contain the Society for Dental Ceramics’ conditions for use of the Society’s own computer networks as well as the rules for use of C-STOC described here.
Use of Copyrighted Materials
Unauthorized copying, reproduction, publication, distribution, uploading, downloading, or booking of information or materials available in C-STOC is prohibited. Users are allowed to download or copy contents available in C-STOC for noncommercial or private purposes; however, the precondition for such use is that mention of all copyrights, trademarks, and other references on such material or contents be maintained, and that the utilization of the material be in accordance with the C-STOC conditions for use. Users also declare their agreement with additional copyright notes or restrictions in the material mediated by C-STOC.
Prohibited Uses of Information
The utilization of C-STOC and/or the information stored there for commercial or business purposes of any kind, personal gain, or political ends is prohibited. Prohibited activities also include the the collection of information and mass-mailings, and this is not limited to advertisement for commercial services.
Aliases / Screen Names
All aliases created in C-STOC are subject to examination and authorization by the Society for Dental Ceramics, in order to guarantee consistency with C-STOC’s conditions for use and/or guidelines for dealings with and use of computer networks. The Society for Dental Ceramics reserves the right to reject certain aliases/pseudonyms. The Society for Dental Ceramics reserves the right to be the sole decision-maker in all cases.
Screening and Monitoring
Neither the Society for Dental Ceramics nor the C-STOC project management are responsible for the screening of information prior to publication on the CWO. However, the Society for Dental Ceramics reserves the right to monitor information in C-STOC. Furthermore, neither the Society for Dental Ceramics nor the C-STOC project management will routinely monitor use within C-STOC, except relative to the conditions for use and the guidelines for using computer networks and the legally stipulated procedures. The C-STOC project management protocols all activities of users within C-STOC for the purpose of technical resource management, project success, and evaluation. Certain member activities will be displayed for the user and can be viewed by other C-STOC members on the user profile page. The general public (non-users) has no access to user profiles.
Misuse Reports and Data Protection Queries
Users who wish to report misuse of C-STOC or who are concerned about their privacy are encouraged to contact the C-STOC project management at email@example.com.
Restriction, Suspension, or Termination of Service
The Society for Dental Ceramics reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate the rights of individual users who behave in C-STOC in a manner which violates the conditions for use or guidelines for use of computer networks, or local, state, and/or federal laws. This also applies to behavior which could place liability with the C-STOC project management or the Society for Dental Ceramics. In all cases, the sole discretion of the Society for Dental Ceramics applies. Liability, Indemnification, and Guarantee
The Society for Dental Ceramics provides no assurances or guarantees that the information in C-STOC is exact, reliable, complete, or current, nor does it otherwise support the information, facts, views, opinions, and recommendations of users (individuals or organizations), nor can the Society for Dental Ceramics guarantee error-free operation of C-STOC. Users are advised that nets and websites can contain computer viruses, worms, and other damaging material, and that the necessary precautions for protecting one’s own computer must be taken by the user.
As far as the law permits, the Society for Dental Ceramics assumes no liability for information accessible in C-STOC in terms of its correctness, completeness, harmlessness, marketability, or suitability for a certain purpose. Neither the Society for Dental Ceramics nor any of its employees, colleagues, or representatives are liable for possible loss or damage of any nature or extent to a person through the operation of C-STOC. In no case whatsoever will the Society for Dental Ceramics, its representatives, employees, or colleagues assume liability for you or another person for any decision or measure you have taken based on trust in this information, or for any consequential, special, or similar damage.
By utilizing C-STOC, the users agree to defend and indemnify the Society for Dental Ceramics, the C-STOC project management and their respective employees, colleagues, or representatives, and to refuse to claim or submit any and all losses, demands, damages, costs, and expenditures which result from the use of C-STOC. The Society for Dental Ceramics reserves the right to participate in any investigations, claims settlements, and defense in such situations. The Society for Dental Ceramics reserves the right of choice of legal counsel and every possible enforcement of such a demand.
By sending in or submitting commentaries or information, you bear the responsibility and guarantee that the contents are correct, that they do not violate this agreement, and that they do not infringe upon the rights of natural persons or distinct legal entities. The Society for Dental Ceramics or the C-STOC project management reserve the right to delete or edit communication at any time and at their discretion for any reason. Nevertheless, the Society for Dental Ceramics or the C-STOC project management are under no obligation to examine or delete these contents.
Conditions for Use Subject to Revision
The Society for Dental Ceramics reserves the right to change these conditions for use and/or the present or future guidelines at any time without prior notice. Changes in the conditions for use are valid upon publication.
Registration and Agreement to the Conditions for Use
With respect to participation in the offered online services of C-STOC, the user must accept the conditions for use. By marking the field “please confirm”, you declare your agreement to comply with the conditions for use contained in this document.
